History lesson-Do you wonder what all the fuss is about over in Israel?

How many of you are aware that the Jews and the Arabs are brothers?

It’s true. All this hate and bloodshed started with one man’s sin.

G-d told Abraham that he would have a son by his wife who was well past child baring age. Abraham did not trust G-d so he took matters into his own hands. He had sex with his handmaiden: Hagar. Hagar gave birth to a son. She named him Ishmael.

It was a full 14 years later that Isaac was born to Abraham’s “barren” wife, Sarah. G-d made his promise through the legitimate son, Isaac; but by the laws of the land, Ishmael was the oldest and thus should have the birthright. Of course, this birthright I speak of is the promised land.

Sarah was jealous of Hagar and Ishmael and insisted that Abraham ban them to the dessert. Because G-d promised to bless Abrahams seed, Ishmael was also blessed.

He became the father of the Arabs.

Isaac became the father of the Jews.

According to G-d, the promised land was promised to the children of Isaac because Isaac was the legitimate son. But Isaac was 14 years younger than Ishmael. Ishmael, being the oldest, claimed his right (by law) to the birthright.

This is the whole conflict between Israel and the Arabs.

The children of Ishmael (the Arabs) claim the birthright (by law), while the children of Isaac ALSO claim this birthright (by the word and promise of G-d.)

Can you see how much chaos can ensue from one man’s sin?

G-d forgave Abraham of his sin, but He did not remove the consequences.

Sin begets sin.

You ask why G-d allows babies to die?

Because G-d gives us agency, our free will. 99% of the pain in this world is caused by man’s decision not to trust G-d and the consequences of those decisions.

I stand with Israel.
